Master Planning services were provided to the Westlake Development Company for a 20-acre site in Reno, Nevada along the Truckee River. The existing casino and health spa would be retained and remodeled and the existing motel would be replaced with upscale garden units. New development included meeting rooms, retail, restaurants, recreation, 212 garden units and 98 cabin units. The master plan was organized along the river to maximize the resort experience across the 3300 feet of river frontage. The main public areas are located at the west end of the property adjacent to the parking area. The cabins are designed in clusters with connecting pedestrian paths and three pods maximizing the amount of open space and views of the river.
